Clinical Presentation
History, Chief Complaint
• Exposure to arsenic-containing product
• Peracute death (no premonitory clinical signs)
• Acute: Severe gastrointestinal (GI) signs, colic, ataxia, recumbency, shock, and death
• Subacute: Persistent watery diarrhea and signs of renal dysfunction
• Phenylarsonics: Peripheral neuropathy with low mortality rate
